BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is opening a fourth South Carolina BLUE™ retail sales center to help even more consumers navigate the health care marketplace.

The new location at 3701 Renee Drive in the Plaza at Carolina Forest in Myrtle Beach will open Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, to help potential customers through the shopping and enrollment processes for individual health insurance.

“We want to make purchasing and enrolling in a health care plan easy and convenient for consumers throughout the state. To do that, we have to meet our members and potential customers where they are. We already have locations in Columbia, Greenville and Mount Pleasant. Adding a Myrtle Beach retail sales center just makes sense,” says Denise Jefferson, director of direct marketing and retail strategies with BlueCross.

The newest South Carolina BLUE™ retail sales center opens just in time to assist consumers shopping for health care plans during the upcoming Affordable Care Act (ACA) open enrollment period, which begins Nov. 1, 2021, and the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment period, which begins Oct. 15, 2021. BlueCross representatives will be available at all South Carolina BLUE™ retail centers to help consumers choose the best plan for their budgets and their lives.

South Carolina BLUE™ retail center hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at these locations:

• Mount Pleasant Retail Center: 1795 North Highway 17, Unit 7, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
