Preventive Flu Vaccines

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina always wants its members to stay healthy. Since we are in the flu season, we encourage eligible members to get their flu vaccines to reduce the chance of getting the infection.

Members can get flu vaccines covered under their pharmacy benefit at any in-network pharmacy with no cost-share. Those that choose to go to an out-of-network pharmacy will be responsible for the full cost.

Who is covered?

Members that have non-grandfathered fully insured, self-insured and exchange plans are eligible for coverage.

Fluad Quadrivalent*	Flucelvax Quadrivalent	Fluzone High-Dose PF*

*Only approved for those aged 65 years and older.
**Only approved for those aged 2-49 years.
